Using microlearning to improve site safety

We're using 'microlearning' to quickly and efficiently communicate safety rules and protocols to those who are only visiting our sites for a short period of time - like delivery drivers.

Microlearning delivers short bursts of content for learners to study at their convenience. Content can take many forms, from text to full-blown interactive multimedia. But it is always brief and targeted.

Our team on the Western Program Alliance has implemented the '7taps' microlearning platform on our worksites, to help delivery drivers overcome communications challenges. They can access content-rich safety inductions in a range of languages, all directly available from their driver’s seat. Currently, the program is available in English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Greek, Hindi, Punjabi and Indonesian.

Such as been the success of the program we are now exploring other use cases for micro-learning across our sites and offices.
