Supporting Australia's shipbuilding capacity
Customer: Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI)
Contract type: Early Contractor Involvement leading to lump sum contract
Location: Osborne Naval Shipyard, Adelaide
Fast Facts
- Construction of 80 - 100 m land backed wharf
- 40,000 m3 of dredging
- Berth kiosk services, including water and eletrical supplies
Australian Naval Infrastructure awarded us the Marine Development Works at the Common User Facility (CUF), the facility we originally built in 2010.
The development works are part of the overall expansion and modernisation of the broader Osborne Naval Shipyard facility into a world-class, fully integrated shipbuilding hub for existing and future naval shipbuilding programs.
The awarding of the Marine Development Works follows an Early Contractor Involvement phase, where our marine engineers optimised the design and construction approach in collaboration with ANI.
Our work consists of four packages:
- Land backed wharf extension
- Shiplift platform structural upgrade works
- Extension of the existing dry berth facility
- River dredging and maintenance dredging to the shiplift pocket.
