The Company is pleased to announce that Japan Gas Corporation (JGC) has awarded PT McConnell Dowell Indonesia (MDI) the contract for the design and construction of the marine facilities for the Donggi Senoro LNG Project.
The scope of work consist of the design, supply and construct of: 500 steel piles; 9,000 m3 of concrete; and 2,000 t of steel reinforcement for a 130 metre jetty with a platform and 11 dolphins, and a 170 metre x 25metre Material Offloading Facility. MDI will also supply and install the ships gangway and state of the art Docking Systems.
Located in a remote part of Sulawesi, MDI will establish a camp, concrete batch plant and other necessary infrastructure at this greenfield site.
The overall project duration is 27 months, with stage 1 completion of the MOF in May 2012 followed by the LNG jetty completion of May 2013.

PT Donggi-Senoro LNG (PT DSLNG), a joint venture company owned by Mitsubishi Corporation, KOGAS, state-owned Pertamina and Medco Energi Internasional, is developing a 2 million mtpa natural gas liquefaction facility (LNG plant) in a remote greenfield site in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Indonesia has the largest natural gas reserves in Southeast Asia and is the world’s third largest LNG exporter. The DSLNG project will be Indonesia’s fourth LNG project development.
