Koniambo Bag House Assembly Works

The Company is pleased to advise that PT McConnell Dowell Services has been awarded the Koniambo Bag House Assembly works for Koniambo Nickel SAS (KNS).

The scope of work includes load in of free issued client equipment, fabrication of temporary transportation steelwork, and the assembly of the coal bag filters at our Batam facility.

The three main items; raw bag house (150 t), bag house filter (25 t), and silo bag filter (10 t) will then be loaded out to barge for transportation to New Caledonia with the necessary sea fastening.

Assembly works commence immediately with overall completion by December 2010.

This award follows on from our recent construction contract win by our New Zealand branch for site erection works at the Koniambo Nickel mine site in New Caledonia.
